Tending her plot offers both calm and purpose, as well as a steady supply of fresh, home-grown produce. She says gardening provides a welcome break from daily anxieties. With sunlight and regular watering, she knows her vegetables will reliably grow, rewarding her efforts with harvests

The Creative Writers Club met on Oct. 24 for its monthly meeting. There was a sparse turnout but the small group submitted some wonderful writings. Fiction, narratives, memoirs, poems and other musings of the club’s authors are shared with the group each month.
