American Mahjong Club

Karaoke party before NYE will be held Dec. 29
KARAOKE CLUB
Karaoke night on Dec. 17 was alive with Christmas music— beloved old standards mixed with fun favorites like “Honky Tonk Christmas,” sung by William Young.
Flo Lee delivered a powerful rendition of “The Little Drummer Boy,” holding the karaoke audience rapt.
Elizabeth Butterfield wowed the crowd with an awesome performance of “Santa Baby.”

As the end of the holiday comes to a close and the New Year approaches, residents are invited to take this final opportunity to enjoy the community’s holiday lights, which display the festive spirit, creativity and ingenuity of LW residents.

After a break following the Leisure World Orchestra’s holiday concert, the group’s conductor, Linda DeRungs, will begin rehearsals in early January for the orchestra’s two spring concerts.
