There are a couple of options outside of LW. • Trunk or Treat The Los Alamitos Recreation & Community Services Department will host its annual Trunk-or-Treat event at Little Cottonwood Park. The free event will offer fun family activities for all ages. Food is available for purchase. Bring the grandkids to Little Cottonwood

First Christian Church of Leisure World teaches from God’s word, the Holy Bible, most often verse by verse. It is a friendly church that welcomes all visitors. Services The First Christian Board is pleased to announce that services will resume at the church on weekend of Nov. 6-7. Saturday and Sunday services will be from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Wednesday Bible Study will begin on Nov. 10 at 10 a.m.

Community Church

Community Church’s annual “Sock it to Me” sock drive for Veterans will run through Sunday, Nov. 7. The Missions Team is accepting donations of new white men’s and women’s socks or monetary donations toward a bulk purchase. The socks will be delivered to the Long Beach VA hospital. People can bring socks or monetary donations to Sunday worship or to the church office Monday-Thursday.
