The Velvetones Ballroom Dance Orchestra will perform Sunday, Nov. 17, at 6 p.m. in Clubhouse 4. The Velvetones are Leisure World’s own professional big band, playing big band swing and jazz standards—music for dreaming and dancing—under the direction of Jeff Plum. The Velvetones play in Clubhouse 4 on the first and third Sunday evenings of each month. People are encouraged to grab their dancing

The GRF Recreation Department invites residents, their families and friends to join the community’s official Christmas tree lighting and Santa’s big arrival Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 4:30 p.m. in Veterans Plaza.
