The LW Community Emergency Response Team (LW CERT) will meet for the last safety class of the year on Friday, Nov. 22, in Clubhouse 3, Room 9, starting at 9 a.m. The class will focus on holiday safety. Injuries increase for seniors over the holidays so residents are encouraged to join this safety class to hear LW CERT President Catherine O’Brien go over practical ways to keep safe and accident

The violin-piano duo “Duo Syncopa” will perform the music of Franz Schubert, Béla Bartók, Amy Beach and Richard Strauss on Sunday, Nov. 17, at 3 p.m. at LW Community Church. The cost for tickets is $20 for general admission, $15 for seniors and students. The church has an all-are-welcome ticket policy.
