Celebrate the new year with The Woman’s Club of Leisure World at the first general meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 7, in Clubhouse 2. Doors will open at 1 p.m., meeting starts at 1:30.The club’s philanthropic organization this month is On The Day You Were Born. They arrange birthday celebrations for children who otherwise would not have a party. Representatives will attend and provide an overview

Ten new Bigfoot utility carts were delivered to the Maintenance Yard on Dec. 18, marking the beginning of a new era for the Service Maintenance fleet. Ten additional carts are expected to arrive in the new year.
These new vehicles will replace the aging Cushman fleet. Some of the old carts have been in operation for as long as 42 years. With rising repair costs and extended downtime,

The Aloha Club is offering a beginners ukulele class for residents interested in learning how to play the popular instrument.
LW resident and class instructor Larry Yamashiro has years of experience in sharing his passion for the island tradition and Hawaiian culture. To date, he has instructed over 100 LW students.
The class will be held in Clubhouse 1 on Wednesdays from
