TOY DISTRIBUTION
The Brown Descents Car Club, an Orange County-based nonprofi t, distributed toys donated by LW residents to more than 400 children and families on Dec.
21. Thanks to the generosity of Leisure World residents, the nonprofi t was able to reach more children than ever this year. Special thanks to resident John Scott Bryan, whose donation provided for over 50 gift cards for teenagers.

Staff trained in fi re suppression
SAFETY TRAINING
GRF Health and Safety Specialist Eloy Gomez taught a safety class on portable fire extinugishers and hands-on fire supression to all Maintenance Yard staff this month.
Staff discussed the proper use of portable fire extinguishers, how and when to use them, and evaluating when to use fire extinguishers and when to evacuate. After the training, staff met outdoors to practice
