Bocce Ball Club crowns champs

The LW Bocce Ball Club winter league celebrated on March 14 with new champions, Tom Schmitz and Franka Yeske, who won the final round of bocce.

The spring season will begin the week of April 12 and continue until June. Rosters for the new season are complete, and new schedules have been issued.

The club takes off for the summer and starts up again in early September. Leagues play on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. The bocce courts are open for practice and fun for all residents on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Contact Rhonda Cox at rhonda2c@msn.com for more information.
