LW Women’s Golf Club

A cold morning welcomed 28 women of the LW Women’s Golf Club to the Leisure World golf course for the weekly tournament on Jan. 27. Play for the day was low gross, low net, and chip ins. A chip in is when a player is off the green and gets their ball in the hole. Yearly dues of $30 are now due.

A flight winners: Linda Herman, Hae Lee and Sophia Kim, 29, low gross; Veronica Chang, 25, low net.

B flight winners: Sandy Kim, 31, low gross; Mary Ann Moore, 25, low net; Patty Littrell, No. 1, chip in.

C flight winners: Sang An, Jane Song, and Laura Garcia, 34, low gross; Sally Park, 28, low net; Sally Park, No. 8, chip in.

D flight winners: Sue Sloan, 37, low gross; Emiko Uchiyama, Connie Kang, Sun Lee, 28, low net.
