Joyful Line Dance members party and lunch is Oct. 9

JOYFUL LINE DANCE

The Joyful Line Dance Club meets on Thursdays from 10 a.m.-noon in Clubhouse 2. The club divides its classes into two parts with a brief break in between— for beginners and more experienced dancers.

Each class begins with “Jo ‘n’ Jo Tango,” “Chilly Cha Cha,” “New York, New York” and others under the guidance of Albert Comia.

Karen Kei leads the second hour of the class with intermediate to advanced dances and introduces a couple of new line dances each month. People are welcome to stay for the twohour class or just attend the first or second half of it. Exercise shoes are advised; no flip flops or sandals.

In May, July and December, the Joyful Line Dance Club sponsors a dance and lunch parties exclusively for its members. On Oct. 9, the club will sponsor a dance party and a Sprouts sandwich lunch. The last day to sign up is today, Sept. 25. All attendees must be the members of the club. Membership is $20 per calendar year.
