SUNSHINE CLUB

The Sunshine Club hosted a members picnic with catering from California Pizza Kitchen on July 19. Dave Noferi of Mutual 15 played an accordion with Italian, French, Latin and English songs, including "God Bless America." The members of Sunshine Club enjoyed being outdoors to spend time together. The club extends a special thanks to Sigrun Rog - ers, who picked up the sandwiches for the picnic, and Elfie Wersching and Wiltrud Thewes for cutting the watermelon. The club's honoree, centenarian Leona Hasegawa, joined the picnic with her caregiver.
