Accordion orchestra will perform Oct. 4 with special guests

LIVE PERFORMANCE

The Los Angeles Accordionaires Pops Orchestra will perform Saturday, Oct. 4, from 2-4 p.m. in Clubhouse 4. The event is free, but donations will be accepted at the door.

Light refreshments will be served. The orchestra will perform a program of classical, Broadway and pop music, with a 30-minute recess. After, the group will feature two rising accordion stars: Peter Swanson, 15, from Bakersfield and Rio Navarro, 16, from a La Canada Flintridge. Both boys recently received scholarships at the Cotati Accordion Festival.

The event was organized by Mutual 15 resident Dave Noferi.
