Assembly of God
LW Assembly of God supports missionaries around the world by praying, giving and inviting them to share stories. Flynn and Renee Clanton are based in Medellin, Colombia, but their reach extends to all of Latin America. The pair have been U.S. veteran missionaries for over 20 years. They use the internet to reach those in the most remote villages, who, despite their poverty and location, have access by satellite on their cell phones. The Clantons are using new methods to share the Gospel to people. The couple will be the special guests at the Sunday service on Sept. 14.
On Wednesday, Sept. 17, the Bible study will finish its study on the Book of Acts, taught by Rev. Kwasi Amoafo, from Nairobi, Kenya. In Acts 1:8 Christ sends his disciples to the ends of earth and promises them power from the Holy Spirit to accomplish the task of spreading the Good News. This wrap-up session puts an exclamation point on the powerful six weeks the class has spent in Acts.
LW Assembly of God meets on Sundays at 10:30 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The Wednesday Bible study meets at 10 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2.
