LW Coin Club

The Coin Club meets on the second Wednesday of every month at 1 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The next meeting is Sept. 10.

Members can have coins viewed and questions answered. Time is allowed to view coins, followed by a business meeting and an education session. The topic will be “Coin Collecting Misconceptions.” Video speaker Rod Gillis, education director at the American Numismatic Association, will discuss the most prevalent coin collecting myths and misconceptions.

Everyone is welcome. Light refreshments are provided, and several opportunities are available for group participation including a raffle, a 50/50 drawing, a coin auction and door prizes.

Ron Guth, Rocky Herrera and/or Andy Kmita will be in attendance to view coins and answer questions. The annual membership fee is $10.
