Pastor Yong Jang-young of Leisure World Korean Community Church (LWKCC) preached a sermon titled “Please Grant Us the Filling of the Holy Spirit.”

During the sermon, he recalled the 120 believers in the early church who received the gift of the Holy Spirit in the upper room in Mark’s Gospel. They did not seek personal gain or comparison, but rather yearned for God’s presence and united in prayer.

The outpouring of the Holy Spirit was an event planned by God that transformed both hearts and spaces. It was not only a visible phenomenon, but also the beginning of a spiritual awakening and the outpouring of God’s love. This moment developed into a powerful catalyst for ministry, communication, and the expansion of God’s kingdom.

The birth of this spiritfilled community marked the beginning of a faith-centered fellowship that rejoiced in grace and shared that joy with others. Being filled with the Holy Spirit is living a life rooted in faith and obedience, dedicating oneself and participating in God’s purpose.

A truly blessed life is one in which the Holy Spirit inspires believers, empowers them to fulfill their divine mission, and leads them to full spiritual fulfillment.

This message provides encouragement and admonition to newly appointed elders. To accept the calling and fulfill the ministry with the power and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

LWKCC holds a worship in the sanctuary at 14000 Church Place every Sunday at 11:50 a.m. to “plant God’s will in the ground.” The early morning prayer service led by the senior pastor is held at 6 a.m. from Tuesday to Saturday.
