Finbar's Restaurant, the local place where everyone knows your name, was the setting for Tom Pontac's (center) 89th birthday celebration. Family, friends, neighbors and Leisure Leggers Walking Club made it memorable and fun for Pontac. His boxing coach joined in the fun to honor this remarkable, inspirational man. He is a two-time cancer survivor and currently living with Parkinson's disease. He is a Supreme Legacy Runner for the Long Beach Marathon and his wife, Jeanne, says she is proud to call him her husband. He already is saying that he can't believe that he will be 90 next April. "Whoa Tom, that is 347 days from now," says Jeanne. "What's the hurry, you have so much more to accomplish!"
