LW Women’s Golf Club

The LW Women’s Golf Club yearly dues are $30, with membership open to all Leisure World women. March 28 brought 39 women to the Turtle Lake Golf Course for the weekly nine hole tournament. Play for the day was low gross, low net and putts. It was also the first day of the spring tournament. A putting contest will be coming up in the near future.

A flight winners: Linda Herman, 27, low gross; Janice Turner, Jane Song and Clara Suh, 25, low net; Angela Yee, 9, fewest putts.

B flight winners: Pam Krug, 29, low gross; MaryAnn Moore, 25, low net; Pam Krug, 12, fewest putts.

C flight winners: Keiko Sekino, 30, low gross; Young Chang, 23, low net; Young Chang, 12, fewest putts.

D flight winners: Emiko Uchiyama and Fale Quinn, 37, low gross; Neva Senske, 26, low net; Neva Senske, 11, fewest putts.
