Learn about travel tips for hearingimpaired on Thursday, May 8

The Hearing Loss Association of America Long Beach/ Lakewood Chapter will meet on Thursday, May 8, from 4-5 p.m. at the Weingart Center, 5220 Oliva Ave., Lakewood. The group will discuss and share tips on traveling with hearing loss.

TRAVEL, page 8 Member Ellen Mathis will share tips on difficult areas to hear, information of flight booking help with hearing the announcements at the airport and many more to making traveling for hearing impaired easier.

The meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month, free to join and open to the public. They provide a friendly place to ask questions, find solutions and learn about technology that makes living with hearing loss easier. All meetings are captioned.
