Cribbage Club players earn stars

The Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday at noon in Clubhouse 1. Refreshments are served each week from noon-12:15 and anyone arriving by 12:15 will be assured a place to play. Yearly dues are $5 and $1 is collected from those who play. Those finishing in the top four scores will be awarded prize money the following week. A total of seven games are played each week, and new players are welcome to come join in the fun.

Linda Evenson provided angel food cake with strawberries and ice cream last week. Evenson, along with Potsy Frank, served everyone. Guta Basner also provided cream pies in celebration of her upcoming birthday. Melinda Cowan provided mixed nuts and assorted candies. The club thanks those who provided and served.

April 15 winners: Susan Dodson and Alma Zamzow, 847, first place with perfect scores and both receiving another star; Drew Sargent, 83, second; Julie Milburn, 841, third; Sharon Rutigliano, 834, fourth. Franca Yeske and Ruth Bonnema both finished with six 121s. Susan Dodson finished with six 121s the previous week.
