First Christian Church

First Christian Church of Leisure World teaches from God’s word, the Holy Bible, most often verse by verse. It is a friendly church that welcomes all visitors to join in worship and explore God’s word together, “That we may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith, both yours and mine,” Romans 1:12.

Message from the Pastor

The Bible is a history book and in it are lists of genealogy records of family lines and descendants. Genealogies have significant meaning in the Bible which allow mankind to trace the entire linage of Jesus Christ. He was a man that walked on the Earth. And it is without doubt, for those that read the genealogies that God is faithful to complete all that has been foretold.

Genesis 5:1 opens with “This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God.” The book proceeds with a record of Adam’s family and descendants, beginning with his son Seth. This is the godly line of which Jesus Christ emerged. Much has unfolded and prophetic word fulfilled before Christ’s first advent when he came as a babe and laid in a lowly manger. And, as prophecy continues to be fulfilled each day the closer it is to his second arrival, when he will come as the King of kings and Lord of lords.
