Club’s fall leagues underway

SHUFFLEBOARD CLUB

The Shuffleboard Club fall leagues started the week of Sept. 14. Players seemed to have an enjoyable time. Each season, teams are reconfigured, allowing for balanced teams. People also get to play with and against different individuals.

Those interested in learning the game can come to open play on Mondays. Courts are open from 9-11 a.m. with expert players willing to help. On the second Monday of each month, the courts are open at 8:30 a.m. and close at 10 so participants can attend the club’s general meeting. Those who want to watch team play can come Tuesdays from 5:308 p.m. or Fridays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. The club also has many special events throughout the year. Membership is $5 per year.
