JOYFUL LINE DANCE
JOYFUL LINE DANCE
The Joyful Line Dance Club meets on Thursdays in Clubhouse 2, from 10 a.m.-noon. The first hour of the class is for beginners to intermediate dancers. After a brief break, the second hour is for more advanced dancers.
The club thanks Albert Comia, George Pinada, Gina Baik, Sunny Kim and Eun Hee Kim for volunteering their time to manage the classes and the music. The club has grown to over 125 members, with up to 75 attendees on average.
Every month, members also learn up to two new dances. This month, Comia teaches “Don’t Be Cruel” and “Touch by Touch.”
People must be members of the club to take classes. The membership is $20 per calendar year and cannot be prorated. Everyone is asked to sign in with their name, Mutual and unit numbers before beginning of the class.
Joyful Line Dance is proud to be an inclusive, multicultural group celebrating diversity and harmony. For more information about the classes, contact Anna Derby at 562-301-5339.
The Joyful Line Dance Club welcomes residents who are passionate about health and line dancing.
