Dancers & Mixers Dance: July 7

The Dancers & Mixers Dance Club will sponsor a dance on Tuesday, July 7, from 7-9 p.m. in Clubhouse 4. The club dances to live ballroom dance music provided by Linda Herman, who has been playing professionally for more than 50 years.

With her background, a repertoire of 5,000-plus songs to choose from and a digital instrument, she keeps the dancers moving and having a good time. Dancers can expect a wide variety of dances, from foxtrots, waltzes, swing, cha-chas, line dances and even a polka or two. The small, friendly club has been dancing since 1982. The emphasis is on having fun; no partners are needed. Dances are free but donations are welcome. For more information, call 562-431-1257.
