Three-ply toilet paper and ‘flushable’ wipes are common causes of clogs

Three-ply toilet paper can damage Leisure World’s pipe system and cause costly stoppages. Residents are urged to use one-ply or two-ply toilet paper, and avoid so-called flushable wipes, which often fail to dissolve. In 2025, Service Maintenance crews cleared 2,738 stoppages—an average of 228 per month—costing Mutuals a combined $218,203.84.
