Potted plant sale is Sept. 21
GARDEN CLUB
The Garden Club will hold a plant sale on Sept. 21 from 12:301:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 2. A large assortment of potted plants will be available for purchase at bargain prices from $5-$20, far below retail. Shoppers do not need to be Garden Club members nor are they required to attend the club meeting taking place immediately after the plant sale, but they are more than welcome to attend.
The meeting starts at 1:30 and will include a program titled “When the Garden Became A Home,” presented by Kim Moore. It will be an overview of some of the insects and other critters living in her California native plant garden. Moore is a naturalist, photographer and artist who has pursued her passions since retiring from the financial industry.
The WE CARE table will be set up in the lobby for donations of non-perishable food items, gift cards and cash. Coffee, tea and cookies will be served after the meeting. It’s a nice chance to get to know other club members and enjoy some refreshments.
