Setting It Straight

The GRF Gate Beautification Project was not reviewed and approved by the Facilities Committee as was implied on page 2 of the July 30 LW Weekly.

The GRF Gate Beautification Ad Hoc Committee, chaired by GRF Director Michael Banfield, had full jurisdiction over the project, which is proceeding on time and under budget, and was approved by the GRF Board in May.

The ad hoc committee, which answers to the full board and is not subject to a standing committee, continues to meet and welcomes member participation.

The next Gate Beautification Ad Hoc Committee meeting is set for 1 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 19, in the Administration Conference Room. The agenda is available under “Calendar” at lwsb.com.
