Learn what to do in an emergency
EMERGENCY INFORMATION COUNCIL

On Aug. 21 from 10 a.m.-noon, the Emergency Information Council (EIC) will address questions and continue education on the information previously covered in its first meeting on May 7. This session will cover:
• How to help others in an emergency and “On Your Own”(20 minutes)
• Review Part 1: Emergency Operations Center (EOC), plus time for questions (10 minutes)
• Part 2: How Boots on Ground functions with EOC (30 minutes)
• Breakouts for Boots On Ground Emergency Scenarios (45 minutes)
• Questions and answers, and survey feedback (15 minutes) Those who attended the first session will receive additional information for the red packet that was handed out and are asked to bring the packet to the meeting. There will not be replacement packets. Those who did not get a red packet or those who missed Part 1 on May 7 will receive a packet with all the previous and current information.

The EIC asks retired or working first aid, emergency medical technicians, nurses, doctors and therapists to attend the meeting, and to let the EIC know their previous or current profession so the EIC can plan appropriately.
