Bowers Museum Bus Trip: June 23

Tickets are on sale for a docent-guided bus trip to the Bowers Museum on Tuesday, June 23. A guided tour will begin at 11 a.m., led by museum staff, offering an in-depth look at selected galleries and exhibits.

The Bowers Museum is known for its wide ranging cultural collections and rotating exhibitions, including, “The American Quilt: Cloth and Commerce,” an exhibition exploring the history of American quilt-making and its connection to industry, trade and daily life. The exhibit features more than 40 quilts and coverlets, including pieces dating back to the 18th century.

Tickets are $45 per person and include museum admission, the guided tour and round-trip bus transportation. Transportation will be provided by chartered bus departing from the Amphitheater bus loading area. Check in by 9:45 a.m., with departure scheduled for 10:15.
