This month, the Joyful Line Dance Club instructors are teaching “Alice” and “Bossa Nova.” The club meets on Thursdays from 10 a.m.noon in Clubhouse 2. It divides its classes into two parts with a brief break in between—for beginners and more experienced dancers.

Each class begins with “Elvira,” “Tennessee Waltz,” “New York New York” and other beginner-friendly dances under the guidance of Albert Comia. After a brief break, the class continues with Karen Kei for intermediate to advanced dancers. She also teaches one or two new line dances each month.

People are welcome to stay for the duration of a class or just attend the first or second half of it. Exercise shoes are advised; no flip flops or sandals. All attendees must be members of the club. The cost is $20 per calendar year.
