The Dancing Feet Club unites generations through dancing
Adam Capulong from New Jersey recently visited his grandmother Rose Vivar in Leisure World. They both share passion for dancing, and Capulong had the pleasure of attending the Dancing Feet Club’s social ballroom and line dancing event. He blended right in with the dancers and had a blast.
Capulong said that the abundance of activities in this community is fascinating, and the time spent dancing with his grandmother is something he’ll cherish forever.
The Dancing Feet Club will celebrate Halloween on Sunday, Oct. 26. Members and guests are welcome to don their favorite costumes.
The club’s line dancers will entertain the guests with a couple of dances, “Ghostbusters” and “Witch Doctor.”
The club holds Monday line dance lessons and practice from 6-8:30 p.m. It also holds social (ballroom) and line dancing from 6-9:30 p.m. every fourth Sunday. Both events are held in Clubhouse 2.
Those who have the passion for dancing are invited. Come dressed for the occasion and bring favorite snacks and drinks. Alcohol is not allowed. Admission is free.
