Meals on Wheels Orange County in partnership with the City of Seal Beach hosts The Lunch Cafe at the North Seal Beach Center, 3333 St. Cloud Drive, Seal Beach, Monday-Friday, from 11 a.m.-noon.

It is open to anyone 60 or older. Suggested contribution is $3. Guests under 60 can enjoy lunch for $5. Arrive 10 minutes before the start time as meals are served on a first-come, firstserved basis. All meals come with 1% milk.

Residents can call the LW bus at 562-472-1367 to get to the Amphitheater, and then take the City of Seal Beach shuttle at 10:25 a.m. at the Amphitheater bus stop to get a ride to the Community Center. People can take the City bus to return to the Amphitheater.

Thursday, Sept. 25

Pork carnitas with ranchera sauce, peas and carrots, cilantro lime rice and fresh orange.

Friday, Aug. Sept. 26

Fish sticks taco, pico de gallo, red and white cabbage, black beans, lemon slice, two whole grain mini tortillas and canned peaches.

Monday, Sept. 29

Pork loin with caramel sauce, broccoli, brown rice and apple.

Tuesday, Sept. 30

Turkey roast with gravy, Scandinavian vegetable blend, sweet potatoes, whole wheat dinner roll with Smart Balance and canned pineapple chunks.
