Don’t miss the golf cart parade Friday, July 4

ROLLIN' THUNDER GOLF CART CLUB

The Rolling Thunder Club will host its annual Fourth of July parade through Leisure World, beginning at 9:45 a.m. at Clubhouse 2 and ending at Clubhouse 4.

All Leisure World residents are invited to decorate their golf carts and participate in the parade.

Only members of the Rolling Thunder Club will be eligible to win the prize being offered for the “Best Dressed Golf Cart.” There will be one prize offered this year: a fully paid whale watching trip which includes two tickets, parking and snacks.

Staging for the parade will be at the Clubhouse 2 parking lot. Carts that are entering the contest need to be at the parking lot at 8:30 a.m. All other carts meet at 9.
