Watch the double piano concert July 13

COMMUNITY CHURCH

On Sunday, July 13, Community Church’s resident pianist Hannah Yi will perform a double piano concert titled “Key Conversations” with fellow pianist Susan Kim-Pedroza. The performance will feature music by Anderson and Roe, Rachmaninoff, Gershwin, and more, played on two pianos simultaneously. The two pianos will be the church’s legacy Yamaha grand piano, and the newlydonated Baldwin grand piano—courtesy of Will Mulcahy and the Mulcahy family, in memory of their mother, Judy Mulcahy.

Community Church will continue its study of God, and how Jesus frees people from the world of empire and oppression. The church will also explore what it means for believers to put the Word of God into action through the power and presence of the Holy Spirit.

Community Church continues to grow and develop as a place where everyone is welcome. Church staff and members often look inward at the ways they might improve their sense of welcome, and to be a beacon of kindness to everyone they meet. All are invited to become a part of the community, turning away from hatred, bigotry, sexism and homophobia. All are welcome who are welcoming to all.

Coffee with the Pastor is Thursdays at 10 a.m. at the church. All are welcome to take this opportunity for a low-key introduction to Pastor Johan Dodge and church members. Community Church holds a Sunday worship service at 9:50 a.m at 14000 Church Place, near the St. Andrews Gate.
