At the May 30 Gong Club game show, guests wore club colors blue, orange and gold. Everyone walked away a winner with house gifts of colorful bead necklaces, American flags and kazoos. Bad dad jokes at the open mic contest granted winners of first, second and third place with oversized coffee mugs.

Participants in the Drop Dead Chicken race won chicken salt and pepper shakers. The Pick Up Chicks game was crazy with buzzers, and winners got rubber duckies. Guests participated in the chicken conga line dance that made everybody laugh. The grand prize and best dressed contest winner was Carol Gregurek, who won an adult sized banana costume.

The club’s next show returns to the Clubhouse 2 Crimson Lounge format with continuation of the club’s mini concert series with “Christmas in July” on July 25, “Latin Music Night” Aug. 29, and a “Renaissance Folklore Festival” on Sept. 26. Each show will be held on the last Friday of the month with all live music performances. Six volunteers will be requested prior to each show.
