Tina Schaffer Farewell Performance

Longtime Abilene singer Tina Schaffer will be featured in a farewell performance with the band on Saturday, May 24, in Clubhouse 2 starting at 7 p.m.

After 25 years in the computer business, including 16 years serving the Leisure World community, Schaffer will retire from Abilene and the computer business at the end of May. She is moving Kansas City, Missouri, to begin the next chapter of her life.

Joining Schaffer in the performance will be Andre Dusomme on guitar and vocals, Jim Greer on drums, Greg Johnson on keyboards and vocals, and Bob McAlister on bass and vocals.

Abilene is Leisure World Seal Beach’s No. 1 country rock band, going strong for over 20 years.

Free dance lessons begin at 6:30. Reserving tables is prohibited. Come and see why Abilene is Leisure World’s favorite band. All concerts are free, but tips are accepted and appreciated.
