Pool League

In the second week of the LW Pool League, held on Monday and Wednesday nights in Clubhouse 2, the matches were not as close as in the first week.

On Monday the Renegades won 9-4 over the Cue Crew. Ren Villenueva won five games, including both of his singles matches. The leading “A,” “B” and “C” players get an award at the end of the season.

The Rail Runners beat PPJ’s 8-5. The Rail Runners “A” player, Rusty Aquino won five games and so did teammate Dennis Bedford.

Right on Cue won its match against In the Money 9-4. Tom Zimmerman had a good night, winning six and losing only an eight ball singles match.

Triple Threat won 10-4 over The Favorites. Connie Terry won six games, including both of her doubles games. Jerry Wrenn and Steve Edrich each won five for Triple Threat.

The Ruffians won big over U3 by an 10-3 margin. Ruffy Ramos won six for the Ruffians and George Gordon and Glenn Everson each won five.

Bank It beat Milly’s Boys 8-5. Bank It fell behind early, but came on strong in its singles match by winning five out of six.

After two weeks, the Renegades and the Rail Runner are tied for first place on Monday with 15 wins and 11 losses. On Wednesday, Triple Threat led with 17 wins and 9 losses, with the Ruffians one game behind.
