The LW Pool Club held its annual invitational 3, 6, 9 tournament on Dec. 27 in Clubhouse 2. This is the only tournament where members invite friends from outside Leisure World to play. It is also the only tournament where there are three people on a team. The tournament was dedicated to the memory of George Gordon, who was a longtime member of the club and a regular at league play and tournaments.

The LW Women’s Golf Club held a special 18 hole net only shotgun tournament with 29 players on Dec. 30. Bocce is an easy game to learn and players meet lots of great people here in Leisure World. The bocce court is located just behind Clubhouse 2. The LW Bocce Club begins its winter season the week of Jan. 11. There is an opening for a new team on the Tuesday morning league.
