The Leisure World spring pool leagues began on Feb. 16, and Feb. 18. The Pool Club decided to make this a 15 week league instead of 10 weeks. The Cribbage Club meets Tuesdays at noon in Clubhouse 1. Refreshments are served from noon-12:15 and anyone arriving by 12:15 will be assured a place to play. Yearly dues are $5 and each player pays $1 to play. Those finishing in the top four scores will be awarded prize money the following week. A total of seven games are played each week. The LW Women’s Golf Club will hold its spring tournament on March 10 and 17. Two sign-up sheets are available in the golf starter shack. Entrants must play on both days to qualify for prize money.
