Starting on May 5, Hui O Hula, Leisure World’s Hawaiian dance club, will offer a free series of hula classes for beginners. Classes will be given on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1 p.m. Each 45-minute class will teach basic hula steps and one hula dance in a fun, relaxed, nostress setting. The Coconut Breeze Band returns to Clubhouse 4 on Friday, May 22, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in a show titled “Jump In The Line.” All are invited to kick off Memorial Day weekend with music, dancing and a jaunt through the conga line.
