Leisure World is no stranger to emergency vehicles. Ambulances, fire engines and police vehicles frequent the community for a variety of medical and safety issues. On average, Seal Beach police enter Leisure World 4.5 times per day for a mix of calls to service, traffic incidents and general law enforcement, according to GRF Security The Orange County Fire Authority enters the community 5.5-6 times

AIR & WATER DAY The year’s final Rollin’ Thunder Golf Cart Club’s Air and Water Day will be held Saturday, Sept. 12, from 8-10 a.m. in the Clubhouse 4 parking lot. The club will provide free water and air checkups for all golf cart owners. Arrive early, as the last cart accepted in line will be at 10 a.m. Regularly checking a cart’s air and water levels maintains the cart’s longevity.

GRF MEMBER RESOURCES Learn more about conservatorship at a Public Guardian presentation on Wednesday, Sept. 23, in Clubhouse 4 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. organized by the GRF Member Resources Office. Senior deputies for the Orange County Public Guardian, Kim Swanson and Suzette Smith, will give a presentation about their department’s services and answer questions about conservatorship.
