Cribbage Club

Cribbage Club


The Cribbage Club meets every Tuesday at noon in Clubhouse 1. Refreshments are served from noon to 12:15, and anyone arriving by 12:15 will be assured a place to play. Yearly dues are $5, and each player pays $1 to play weekly. Those finishing in the top four scores will be awarded prize money the following week. The club welcomes new players to join. Chess Club


The LW Chess Club meets every Friday in Clubhouse 3, Room 7, from 1-4:30 p.m. Beginners lessons are available. Keep Alzheimer’s and dementia at bay by practicing this strategy game, proven to improve short and long-term memory and critical thinking skills. Pickleball Club institutes annual dues for members

Pickleball Club institutes annual dues for members


The Leisure World Pickleball Club voted to establish annual dues of $5 during its quarterly meeting on March 8. The club did not previously have a dues requirement. Money collected from this fee will offset various club expenses and allows for matching funds for select initiatives. Nancy Rader was elected to fill the vice president vacancy. She will succeed Luann Jester, who passed away in February.

Shuffleboard Club winter leagues begin on April 7


Residents are invited to join the Shuffleboard Club on Mondays from 9-11 a.m. to learn the basics, make new friends and have fun. All the needed equipment is available, but players should be sure to wear closedtoe shoes. Hone new skills just in time for the annual Ham Shoot tournament on April 8.
