Six-Week Copper Enameling Class: May 13
The Lapidary & Jewelry Club is offering a new six-week class in copper enameling. The class will meet Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. for six weeks starting May 13.
Enameling is the process of adding finely ground colored glass to pieces of copper which are then fired in a kiln to make colorful and lasting pieces of wearable or displayable art.

LW Pool Club
On April 25, the LW Pool Club held its monthly tournament in Clubhouse 2. This month it was 369, a version of nine ball where the three ball counts as one point, the six ball as two points, and the nine ball as three points.
There were 12 two-person teams playing seven rounds, with players alternating shots. In the seventh and final round Phuoc Tran and Hanken Le made the three and nine for a total
Monday Night Bunco Club meets second and fourth Mondays in Clubhouse 3, Rm 1
Bunco is an easy and fun dice game where players try to score the most points. Saturday Social Bunco Club meets second and fourth Saturdays in Clubhouse 3 Lobby
The Saturday Social Bunco Club meets on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby, with sign-in for $5 at 1 p.m. and play beginning at 1:30. There were 39 players at the April 25 gathering, with two first time players.

The LW Chess Club meets every Friday in Clubhouse 3, Room 7, from 1-4:30 p.m. Beginners lessons are available. Keep Alzheimer’s and dementia at bay by practicing this strategy game, proven to improve short and long-term memory and critical thinking skills.
