The LW Community Emergency Response Team (LW CERT) will hold the last safety class of the year, on Friday, Oct. 23, at 9 a.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. At the meeting, LW CERT will review the previous safety classes on power, water and food plus address ways to prepare for increased rainfall due to the predicted El Niño.

The Yahtzee Club will meet Oct. 2 in the Clubhouse 3 Lobby at 2 p.m. There will be a halftime social to interact with neighbors. The club meets the first, third and fifth Fridays of each month. PICKLEBALL CLUB The LW Pickleball Club announced a date change for its advanced players’ tournament. Th e tournament will be held on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 10 a.m.-noon. The courts are reserved from 8 a.m. on to allow for pre-match warm ups. Players are asked to register via Team Reach. It will be a round-robin style tournament. The tournament will be held at the pickleball courts
