The Karaoke Club’s karaoke parties are a chance to escape and enjoy a variety of music every Wednesday from 5:30-9:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 1. Singers are anxious to entertain. Hui O Hula continues to share the aloha spirit through weekly dance classes while instructor Jojo Weingart and event coordinator Kaye Huff are taking a short leave of absence. Dancers meet Tuesdays upstairs in Clubhouse 6 at 1 p.m., and Thursdays outdoors at Veterans Plaza, also at 1 p.m. September hula subjects include three favorites: “He’eia,” “The Prayer” and “Haleiwa Hula.” All

Over 100 guests came to the Aug. 29 Gong Club show at Clubhouse 2. Everyone enjoyed the great performances by talented LW musicians.
