On Reformation Sunday, Oct. 25, Senior Pastor Jang-Young Yong delivered a sermon titled “The Five Solas,” or the five core values of the Reformation, to LW Korean Community Church at 11:30 a.m. at 14000 Church Place.

The Five Solas are: Sola Scriptura (Scripture Alone): The Bible is the Word of God and the sole standard for a Christian’s faith and life.

Solus Christus (Christ Alone): Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and humanity; salvation is achieved solely through him.

Sola Gratia (Grace Alone):

Salvation is a gift of grace, given freely by God, not based on human qualifications or merits.

Sola Fide (Faith Alone):

Humans are justified—declared righteous—solely through faith in Jesus Christ, not by good works.

Soli Deo Gloria (Glory to God Alone): All glory for salvation and for life on Earth belongs to God alone.

LW Korean Community Church holds a Sunday worship service at 14000 Church Place at 11:30 a.m. with the goal to “plant God’s will in the ground.”

The early morning prayer service is also held at the sanctuary and led by the senior pastor from Tuesdays-Saturdays starting at 6 a.m.
