LW Lions Club produce box distribution canceled due to rain

The Leisure World Lions Club has canceled the monthly produce box distribution today, Oct. 22, due to rain.

The LW Lions Club holds this event every month. For $10 cash, participants receive a 12-pound box filled with farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, sourced directly from local growers. Each box includes a generous mix of seasonal staples — an easy way for residents to stretch their grocery budgets.
