Rancho Los Alamitos
Rancho Los Alamitos, 6400 East Bixby Hill Road, Long Beach, adjacent to California State University, Long Beach, will host two family-friendly musical performances as part of its fourth annual summer concert series. Grounds will be open after hours on two Sunday evenings this year: June 28 and Aug. 23.
Grab lawn chairs or blankets and pack a picnic dinner for a night on the rancho’s lush historic grounds. The Bill Grisolia Band will perform the blues on June 28.
Bill Grisolia plays festivals, concerts and top nightclubs in the U.S. and internationally. He is featured in the Hot 100 Bands in the for 2023 by top trade magazine, “Music Connection.” In the same year, he was chosen as the first musician to play aboard the iconic Queen Mary since the pandemic and at Long Beach City Hall for the new Arts, Culture and Tourism Committee of Long Beach. The rancho has partnered with the Long Beach Blues Society for June 28 and the Aug. 23 performances. Tickets are available at https://shorturl.at/WMMTR.
Parking for each concert is at CSULB Lot G13, located on the corner of Atherton Street and Palo Verde Avenue. There will be a shuttle service running up to and from the rancho. There is no on-site parking at the rancho lot.
Doors open and the shuttle service begins at 4:30 p.m., and the event will end at 7. Shuttle service from the Lot G13 stops at 6:30 p.m.
When the event concludes, the shuttle will continuously run from the rancho back to the parking lot.
