Letters to the Editor
Editor:
A resounding thank you to the GRF directors and staff who worked on the April 28 town hall, and to the shareholders who participated in live audience and on Zoom.
It was a polite, informative event. The 65 questions that were answered provided responses that everyone benefited from.
Marla Hamblin GRF director, Mutual 15 Editor:
I loved our town hall on April 28. I hope they are done more regularly to enlighten us and also dispel false information.
I loved the transparency and reminders that a lot of the way the executive office is operating is the same as previous directors. A big difference currently is our executive director, Jessica Sedgwick, has led us into the most current world of technology for all.
I am very grateful for our GRF president, Janet Isom, for her clarity, frankness, leadership and composure. I appreciate within our community that we can gather with civility and honesty, and even agree to disagree with civility.
May we continue to have town halls for the purpose of unifying, disclosure and clarity. If you want your voice heard; volunteer, get involved, be part of the answer.

Approximately one in three households has a member affected by a significant mental health condition. These include physical and intellectual disabilities, autism, major psychiatric illnesses and age-related cognitive issues, such as dementia, anxiety and depression.
Depression and manic episodes can worsen in the spring, when the suicide rate is the most high.
For manic illness, people show symptoms such as buying sprees planning ridiculous businesses, and sudden plans for traveling, among other grandiose ideas. Usually, experienced doctors increase the maintenance dose of treatment. It’s time to pay special attention to those around us who have mental illness.

Many people would attribute the following comments to Donald Trump: “So, I think we gotta have tough conditions with illegal aliens, tell them to come out of the shadows, if they’ve committed a crime, deport ‘em. No questions asked.”
Eighty-three percent of projected deportations will be done without due process.
On tariffs: “It’s interesting to note that the average U.S. Most Favored Nation (MFN) tariff on Chinese goods coming to the United States is 2%, whereas the average MFN tariff on U.S. goods going into China is 35%. Is that reciprocal? The U.S.-China trade relationship is a job loser.”
Well, those comments are not from Donald Trump. The first one was from Hillary Clinton. The 83% due process stat is from Barack Obama. And Nancy Pelosi made the remark on tariffs. Democrats used to be for deportations and tariffs. Now they’re defending violent criminal aliens and are rooting for China to win the trade war.
