Naval Weapons Station Station, Seal Beach, is hot topic
Clubhouse 4 was fi lled to capacity to welcome Seal Beach Naval Weapons Sta- tion Executive Offi cer Cmdr. Jamie French, who gave a presentation to LWers on March 28. The event, which was sponsored by the City of Seal Beach and the Golden Age Foundation, featured a question-and-answer period and a look at the work conducted by the NWS. The program was livestreamed and can be seen at lwsb.com.

Coin Club to meet April 9 in CH 3
The Coin Club will meet at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, in Clubhouse 3, Room 2. The meeting will cover recognizing coin errors.
The Coin Club, which meets on the second Wednesday of every month, is educational as well as social. It’s a place where people who love the hobby of coin collecting can connect with each other and make new friends. Everyone is welcome.

PHOTO ARTS CLUB
The meeting of the Photo Arts Club will be on Thursday, April 10, at 1:30 p.m. in Clubhouse 3, Room 9. People should bring their iPhones, Androids and/or cameras. The assignment is mood/ feelings. People can e-mail their best three photos to benbenjamins@ hotmail. com by April 7.
