Seasonal fruits and vegetables available for $10 today, April 24

SEAL BEACH LIONS CLUB The Seal Beach Lion’s Club will hold its monthly food box program on Thursday, April 24 in Clubhouse 6 from 10 a.m.-noon. Due to increased demand the club will be bringing in 200 boxes of produce. All Leisure World residents are eligible, regardless of income. People can buy a 12-pound box of fresh produce for $10. The Summer 2025 Leisure World NOCE semester begins on June 2 and ends on Aug. 1. Students will need to register for classes beginning on Tuesday, April 29, at 8 a.m. The full list of NOCE classes offered inside of LW can be picked up at the library or be found in people’s email inbox if they subscribe to LW Live emails.
